Billabong Team rider, Reubyn Ash from Widemouth Bay will became the first UK surfer since Russell Winter was on the Tour to compete in a prestigious WCT event. Reubs is in blistering form at the moment and following a series of good results on the ASP Pro Junior tour this summer Billabong have handed him one of the wildcard slots. His first round heat will be against 8 times worls champion Kelly Slater and fellow American Taylor Knox.
